Hey folks! Long time no see!
Well after reading through the entire thread i can see some possible things that can be done. For one...

1. Make a forum directory in bilingual! (Had that in mind the last time we had event.) If you can't read chinese, i'm sure you can at least match the words and select the links. (No pain no gain. XD)

2. Start a sub discussion board in english. Users can interact, ask questions and stuff! Bonding! That's the word!

What's not practical after some thought would be translating this entire website into english (Like a mirror.)

Reason being...

1. YOu need users to participate in a forum. English users in this case. It will be mightily hard because the majority of the population here are more comfortable with english. I know how a lack of users kill a forum. (Seen that twice.)

2. Well... Do you have any idea how deep this place is? just the fanfic section alone is a few layers (boards) deep! Too much workload for the honorable admins and mods.

That's all i gotta say... If the plan happens i'll be glad to help. XD

Yeah, I think your point 1 isn't that much effort. Other than that, it's really up to the administrator's mind, which at this point I have no clue of. Just checking the post numbers of yamibo: 1640652= 1.6 million posts, to change them all into English... lol~

but i see that it's a hard process to get into , and i see how hard does the admins try ( Thank u admins ) . , special thank to 忘川 for sharing

um ok , u need some suggestions right ? well i have some steps for now

1. let's see what the admin of yamibo say about this ( even if we get turned down , wont give up b/c he's/she's kind :D )

2. if the second English version takes alot of time , while making it why not update on a sub-English forum ( i myself will help)

3. please please , i can't understand chinese so can u please reply on English till i learn some chinese yamibohk05

5. im a female...female....female XD

6. i will make an irc channel if u want for yamibo and we can all "the yuri fans" communicate there till the english version is done :D

8. express more opinions and let's see how far can we go with this

The language barrier must be canceled gradually not promptly.

i have said this. i also want to spread my thought about anime including yuri not les. my imagine of yamibo is an anime forum toward yuri but not all about yuri and gl. NIGHT won't hope to capture the adult pictures and anime.

Based on laws above,i wil talk with everyone foreigners friendly and happily.

it'll be quite hard to translate the whole forum into english interface, i agree with creating a sub-forum of it ^_^ But still the best is try to learn basic chinese since most of the manga and stuff here is in chinese! i think most of the user on the forum is willing to help you with your chinese if you need any. yamibohk05

hmmmmmm , well that's ur personal opinion and u r free to express it at anytime "sukitenshi " but i can say that the forum needs to be developed someday and become global ^^ so that's why i posted it , other than that ..i would say it's ur personal opinion , i just can hope u change ur mind :) ...ur idea about this

Well.. I think it's a good idea to atract international users, and adding an English sub board would be a great idea, since it would be very difficult to translate all the boards, or make people reply in both languages (but it would be really nice for foreign users if people who know english could do that... though i don't think much people will do it...)

And about what Hayashi11 said.. to make the forum directory bilingual. I think that's a great idea~ That's the first step we should do to atract international users as it would be easier for them to register, login, and find what they want.

or... maybe there could be a new group (similar to 工作組) and their work is to translate to english some 討論區's "important" information?

this is despairing...
why can't we just make up a sub, and translate some good articles or comics, and let everything flow, i mean it might attract english speakers, then maybe they'll start the whole sub by posting stories or forums~
i mean it doesn't hurt to take a try...(okay okay, i admit that this thing is driving me crazyXD<---the person who wanted to have an english sbu for a long time)
first time of having the hope of dream comes true~

我想最多开设一个英语专用讨论区作为和中文讨论并列的二级子版，这个还是有可能的
不过开始的时候还是什么都没有的，需要有心人来建设，很有可能会像日语学习区那样成为比较冷门的版

PS：英语只有可以看懂的程度，自己写一定错误一大堆，还是算了吧

讨论区的IDEA是可以的
如果是谁来管的话,300会中文又会英文的人好多,版主就有好多个
如果再不行的话,就在300会员里拉,达人里面里也有很多英文和好的啊
