I am not an administrator, but I guess the answer is NO. Simply because there is no reason to do this just for yourself or several people.

If you want, you can post your thread in English; if you can attract more and more people to reply, someday administrators will realize the importance of English and then something will be done.

BTW, we Chinese hate to refuse other people directly; No answer, to me, is polite way to tell you NO. In addition, there are many yuri related forums in English you should be able to find one similar to here to some extent.

Just want to say Hi!. I love this forum I have been on Yamibo for a long time. It's one of my fav forums around. I am Dutch btw. I just wish I could understand abit more about the conversation about Nanoha SS. But yes this forum is Chinese I don't see the need for English.

all im saying is that im suggesting a chance to improve this forum and take it up

1. many ppl will learn English or improve theirs
2. many ppl will know about the Chinese culture and learn some Chinese vocabs.
3.chance for various ppl to meet in such great community
4. everyone is happy

my goals are basically those

if any admin want to agree or disagree to the idea please inform me at this email : [email protected]

i'll be glad by which result comes , i know i made an effort to register ,post, reply , interact with u guys and now it's the admins decision to make either " /yes or /no" so please if u made up ur minds email me

and please ..members , don't email me unless u pm me first , and no emails in Chinese b/c im not good at it my skill is 2% for now so im not good at Chinese, that's all i got to say yamibohk05

in fact yes iam interested , as i said i was busy with exams and all but im 100% committed to my idea

i truly want to be part of this forum , the language border is my main reason for posting this

Night, I have a feeling that you only listened to (or, accepted) the positive feedback and not the negative ones. I didn't want myself to be the person to say it, but I guess there's no other way but to say it straightforward to make you understand it.

This thread was highlighted because the board moderator of discussion board thought it interesting and deserves attention, and it was advertised in the front-page only because it was submitted. It doesn't mean that the administrator is for (or against) this idea.

Slightly off topic, internet communication is never the best way to learn English, --it'd be better for people to learn the current web jargon and abbreviations. The same thing goes for Chinese learning. Sure it can raise some interest, but it is far away from the systematic way of learning a language. I agree that you can meet a lot of interesting people, just like if you go to another website. But everyone is happy? Definitely not true. What people wrote in Chinese or Pinyin lately are not all friendly or serious.

The administrator probably will never email you about yes or no either, because I know her English is as bad as your Chinese. Unless your Chinese becomes good enough to ask her directly about this, nothing will happen. You may feel even more frustrated now, thinking all your efforts have been in vain. I don't know how to comfort you in this case, but that's what life is, most of the time.

That being said, yamibo still welcomes friends from all over the world, and if there're some simple things we can help, we'll help.

I am sorry that I don't have time to read all the post under this topic, but I want to share my experience. I am so obsessed with (Is this the right word to use?) Japanese animation that I am using all means to get information about the animes I like. I visit Japanese websites from time to time though I know nothing about the language and visit English anime websites even though I have to look up words from the dictionaries all the time. I am thankful that I have this interest as it urges me to improve my English and start learning Japanese. I am also grateful that there is no Chinese translation in those English websites or Japanese websites, or else I would not have worked so hard to learn the two languages.
